Target Investment Sectors We seek the best risk-adjusted investments available across all industry sectors, with a focus generally on the media, consumer products and water sectors and through Wasserstein & Co.’s knowledge network. The firm has had many years of successful investments in both the media and consumer products sectors. In both sectors, the senior partners have extensive expertise, both from an investing as well as operational standpoint. Wasserstein & Co. is often perceived by many to be a “strategic” investor in these sectors due to its considerable experience owning, operating and overseeing these businesses; its ability to understand and exploit both apparent and obscured growth opportunities; and its experience and ability in understanding and diligencing complicated corporate challenges and opportunities in these sectors. We also developed a compelling investment strategy for middle market companies that support the distribution, treatment, measurement and conservation of water and share the risk-mitigating attributes and operational characteristics of its other target companies.
