Mr. Bagaria has 15 years of experience in the leveraged finance market. Before joining Wasserstein & Co., LP to become President and Chief Investment Officer of Wasserstein Debt Opportunities Management, LP, Mr. Bagaria was a Partner and Investment Committee member of Apollo Investment Management (“Apollo”), the investment manager of Apollo Investment Corporation (“AIC”), a publicly traded business development company with over $3 billion of AUM. At Apollo, Mr. Bagaria invested in several asset classes including senior debt, high yield bonds, mezzanine debt and equity. Mr. Bagaria also held responsibilities related to secondary trading, investment team development, portfolio company work-outs and the development of Apollo’s energy lending and aviation investment platforms. Mr. Bagaria has been a board member of several companies including LVI Services, Inc. Generation Brands and Playpower, Inc. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Bagaria worked as an investor for Goldman Sachs & Co.’s PIA Mezzanine Fund, the largest mezzanine fund globally. Mr. Bagaria is a co-founder of the The Manitou School, a private elementary school located in Cold Spring, New York.
Mr. Bagaria earned a BA degree at New York University with studies at the London School of Economics.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Dutton has over 17 years experience in the Hedge Fund Industry and joined Wasserstein in June 2013. Prior to joining Wasserstein & Co. he was Senior Product Manager at J.P.Morgan for three years with responsibility for the direction of their Hedge Fund services business in the United States. Prior to that, he worked for 14 years in Senior Hedge Fund operations positions for top tier firms, including IFS State Street and HSBC.
Mr. Dutton holds a Masters degree in Economics from University College Dublin and a joint Honors degree in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin.
Mr. Kelsey joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2013 as an Associate for Wasserstein Debt Opportunities Management, L.P. Previously, Mr. Kelsey worked at Jefferies LLC in the Leveraged Credit Research group where he was responsible for covering the gaming and retail sectors.
Mr. Kelsey received a B.S. in Finance, Investment, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin and is a CFA charterholder.
Mr. O’Keefe joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2014 as an Associate for Wasserstein Debt Opportunities Management, L.P. Previously, Mr. O’Keefe worked at S&P Capital IQ Leveraged Commentary & Data Group where he was responsible for research on leveraged loans and high yield bonds.
Mr. O’Keefe received a B.S. in Business Administration from Western New England University with a concentration in finance.
Mr. Montana joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2014 as a Finance Associate. Previously, Mr. Montana worked at State Street Investment Management Services where he was responsible for fund administration in Global Emerging Markets.
Mr. Montana received a duel B.S. degree in Finance and Economics from the City University of New York with a concentration in Investment Analysis
Ms. Gardiner joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2014. She is an executive assistant in the Private Equity group as well as the Credit Fund group. Previously, she has worked in administrative positions with New Video Group and the Argosy Foundation. She holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and an M.F.A. from the University of California, Irvine.
