  • Ellis Jones


    Chairman


    Mr. Jones joined predecessor firm Wasserstein Perella in 1995. He has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and private equity and has been responsible for building and overseeing both industry and product groups at major investment banking firms. Previously, Mr. Jones was Head of West Coast Investment Banking at Wasserstein Perella and, prior to that, was Managing Director at Salomon Brothers and ran that firm’s Hotel and Gaming Group from 1988 through 1994. Before that period, he was a Vice President in investment banking at The First Boston Corporation, where he worked on the firm’s direct investments and real estate partnerships. Mr. Jones is a member of the Wasserstein & Co. investment committee for both Wasserstein Partners and the Wasserstein Debt Fund.

    Mr. Jones recently served on the Board of Directors of Turtle Mountain as well as on the Boards of Directors of Encompass Digital Media and Lazard and previously served on the Boards of Directors of Harry & David, Meyer Material, Odwalla, All-Clad and IMAX, among other Wasserstein companies. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Yale School of Management and served as its chairman from 2006 to 2011.

    Mr. Jones received his M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management and his B.S. from the University of California at Berkeley.

  • Anup Bagaria


    Co-Managing Partner; Investment Committee Member


    Mr. Bagaria joined predecessor firm Wasserstein Perella in 1994. He was the senior partner responsible for ALM Media, Real Estate Media and Recorded Books and currently oversees Globecomm, ALM Media, Nasco, Moss, Northstar Travel Group and Penton Media. He recently served on the Board of Directors of Encompass Digital Media and Recorded Books. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of New York Media Holdings.

    Mr. Bagaria received his S.B. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

     

  • George Majoros, Jr.


    Co-Managing Partner; Investment Committee Member


    Mr. Majoros joined predecessor firm Wasserstein Perella in 1993. Prior to joining Wasserstein Perella, Mr. Majoros practiced law with Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, where he specialized in contested takeovers, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and corporate and securities law.

    Mr. Majoros currently serves as Chairman of the Boards of Directors for Paris Presents and Jamberry Nails. He previously served on the Board of Directors of So Delicious Dairy Free, American Seafoods Group, ALM Media, MasterCraft Boat Company, where he was the Co-Chairman of the Board, Maybelline, Sunbelt Plastics, Collins & Aikman, Yardley of London, where he served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of its North American business, and Harry & David, where he was Co-Chairman of the Board.

    Mr. Majoros received his A.B. in Economics from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University Law School, where he was Managing Editor of the Law Review. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Case Western Reserve University and the Chairman of the Investment Committee for its endowment fund. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

  • Robert Fogelson


    Senior Partner; Investment Committee Member


    Mr. Fogelson joined predecessor firm Wasserstein Perella in 1998. He previously served as a Co-Chairman of High Pressure Equipment Company as well as the Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of MasterCraft Boat Company and a Board observer of American Seafoods Group. Prior to joining Wasserstein Perella, Mr. Fogelson practiced law for five years with Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.

    Mr. Fogelson received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was Executive Editor of the Law Review and has served on the Dean’s Strategic Council.

  • Thomas Ibsen Huang


    Partner


    Mr. Huang joined predecessor firm Wasserstein Perella in 1995. He has worked on a broad variety of transactions ranging from early stage venture capital investments to the sale of publicly traded portfolio companies. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Globecomm. Mr Huang previously served on the Boards of Directors of Encompass Digital Media and So Delicious Dairy Free.

    Mr. Huang received two concurrent degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude with general honors. He received a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A. in English from the College of Arts & Sciences.

  • Dr. Rengarajan Ramesh


    Partner


    Dr. Ramesh has consulted for W&Co. on water investments since early 2009 and formally joined W&Co. in 2010. He has over 25 years of global operating, acquisition and technology experience. From 2003 to 2009, he held several senior management roles at GE Water & Process Technologies, including four years as Chief Technology Officer. During his tenure as CTO, Dr. Ramesh played a key role in the development and implementation of the strategy that led to the creation of GE’s $2.5 billion global water platform, managing engineering and technology organizations of over 700 engineers and scientists while leading the technical and operational due diligence and integration efforts of GE Water’s major acquisitions. Prior to serving at GE, Dr. Ramesh served numerous management roles, including Chief Technology Officer, General Manager of Asia and General Manager of Mexico and South America, over a two-decade career with A. Schulman Inc., a global, multi-billion dollar specialty chemicals manufacturer. He currently serves as a Director of Innovation Business Development Advisory Board for United technologies Corporation, Investment Committee for Sustainable Water for Food for US AID, and on the Supervisory Board for RWL Water.  He previously served as a Director of High Pressure Equipment Company.

    Dr. Ramesh received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Akron. He served as a member of the International Advisory Board to the Ministry of Environment and Water for the Government of Singapore from 2006 to 2009. He also served on the Executive Board of the National Center for Food Protection and Defense (a Homeland Security center at the University of Minnesota). He is also on the Board of Imagine H2O, a non-profit organization based in Silicon Valley that supports entrepreneurs.

  • Michael Struble


    Partner


    Mr. Struble joined W&Co. in 2003. He primarily focuses on W&Co.’s media and communications investment activities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Northstar Travel Group, Moss, ALM Media and Penton Media and was previously responsible for Recorded Books.  Other historical investment responsibilities have included ALM Media, Real Estate Media and The Deal. Mr. Struble is also an officer of New York Media.  Previously, Mr. Struble worked at UBS in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group, where he worked on media, consumer products and healthcare transactions.

    Mr. Struble received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Kansas

  • Robert Mersten


    Chief Financial Officer


    Mr. Mersten joined predecessor firm Wasserstein Perella in 1992. He is responsible for administrative matters concerning the firm and financial reporting to investors in W&Co. investment partnerships. Previously, Mr. Mersten worked at Chemical Bank in various financial positions, and also worked at Kidder Peabody & Co.

    Mr. Mersten is a Certified Public Accountant and received his B.S. from Hunter College.

  • Stuart Martin


    Director


    Mr. Martin joined W&Co. in 2004. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Paris Presents and Jamberry Nails. He previously served on the Boards of Directors of So Delicious Dairy Free and Harry & David. Previously, Mr. Martin worked at UBS Los Angeles, focusing on leveraged finance, consumer products and media transactions.

    Mr. Martin received his B.A. in Economics from Pomona College and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

  • Rohan Rai


    Director


    Mr. Rai joined W&Co. in 2005. Previously, Mr. Rai worked at UBS in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Mr Rai currently serves on the Board of Directors of Nasco and Globecomm. Historical investment responsibilities have included Encompass Digital Media, Penton Media and The Deal.

    Mr. Rai received his B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of Business, graduating cum laude.

  • Nitin Singhal

    Mr. Singhal joined W&Co. in 2003 and is a Director in the firm’s New York Office. He is active in sourcing and executing new investment opportunities and working with portfolio companies across all of the firm’s industry sectors. Mr. Singhal currently serves on the Board of Directors of ALM Media and previously served on the Board of Director of High Pressure Equipment Company.

    Mr. Singhal received his B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

  • Michelle Veillette Sareen


    SVP & Investor Relations Director


    Ms. Sareen joined predecessor firm Wasserstein Perella in 1989. She is responsible for all investor relations and administrative matters for the Partnership and Credit Fund Group as well as all historical W&Co. investment partnerships.

    Ms. Sareen received her M.A. from the California Institute of Integral Studies and her B.A. from Parsons The New School for Design.

    Mr. Kelly joined W&Co. in 2011.  Previously, Mr. Kelly worked at CDG Group, a boutique restructuring and M&A advisory firm.

    Mr. Kelly received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, graduating cum laude.

  • Yumee Song


    Senior Associate


    Ms. Song joined W&Co. in 2014. Previously, Ms. Song focused on middle market investing in the consumer sector at EG Capital Group. Prior to EG, Ms. Song worked at Providence Equity Partners, where she was responsible for ongoing portfolio management and analyzing new media, communications and information investments. Prior to Providence Equity, Ms. Song was an analyst at Merrill Lynch in the Mergers and Acquisitions group.

    Ms. Song graduated from the University of Virginia with distinction. She received a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce and a B.A. in Economics and Studio Art from the College of Arts & Sciences. Ms. Song received her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

    Ms. Concessao joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2015. Previously, she worked as an analyst in the Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

     

    Ms. Concessao received a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

    Mr. Marchi joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2016. Previously, Mr. Marchi worked as an analyst at Lazard in the Corporate Finance & Capital Structure Advisory Investment Banking Group.

    Mr. Marchi received his B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Operations Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude.

    Mr. Slater joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2013. Previously, Mr. Slater worked as an analyst at Citi in the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group.

    Mr. Slater received an A.B. in Chemistry from Princeton University, graduating magna cum laude.

    Mr. Wang joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2014. Previously, Mr. Wang worked as an analyst at Lazard in the Corporate Finance & Capital Structure Advisory Group.

    Mr. Wang received his B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude.

    Mr. Woo received a B.A. in Honors Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

    Mr. Zhou joined W&Co. in 2015. Previously, Mr. Zhou worked as a summer analyst at W&Co.

    Mr. Zhou received a B.B.A from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and was elected to Gamma Sigma Alpha, graduating magna cum laude.

  • Rohan Jones

    Mr. Jones is the Controller at Wasserstein & Co., LP, and is integral to the firm’s Finance and Accounting department. He joined the firm in 2009.  Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Mr. Jones worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young where he focused mainly on Private Equity and Mutual Fund clients.  Mr. Jones has over 10 years of accounting and auditing experience in the private equity and asset management industry.

    Mr. Jones is a Certified Public Accountant.  He received his B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College and is currently pursuing his Executive MBA at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

  • Lori Gaudreault


    Assistant Controller


    Ms. Gaudreault joined W&Co. in 2015. Previously, Ms. Gaudreault was the Assistant Controller at Vatera Holdings, LLC where she focused on the accounting and operations of the Venture Capital company, management companies, as well as fund and foundation reporting. Prior to Vatera, Ms. Gaudreault worked at Tremblant Capital Group, where she was responsible for management company accounting and reporting of the management company and family office.

     

    Ms. Gaudreault is a Certified Public Accountant. She received a B.S. in Mathematics and Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut and a M.S. in Taxation from the Baruch College.

    Ms. Baker is an Assistant Vice President at Wasserstein & Co., LP, and plays an active role in the firm’s Finance and Legal department. She joined the firm in 2005.

    Ms. Baker received her BA in European Studies from New York University and was a National Merit Scholar.

    Ms. Brown joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2007.  Presently she heads up reception and works with the administrative and finance departments.

    Ms. Dominguez joined Wasserstein & Co. in 2007.  She is an executive assistant in the Private Equity Group. Prior to that, she worked at Jefferies Group LLC for 17 years as an executive assistant to various senior executives.  Ms. Dominguez received her S.B. degree from Nyack College.

Previously, she has worked in administrative positions with New Video Group and the Argosy Foundation.     Ms. Rosenfeld joined Wasserstein & Co. in 1999.  She is an executive assistant based in the Los Angeles office.  Prior to that, she worked abroad as an English teacher in Osaka, Japan.

    Ms. Thompson joined W&Co. in 1999.  She is an executive assistant in the Private Equity Group.  Prior to this, she worked at EXOR America, the private investment division of the Fiat Group in New York.
